The American Red Cross, FEMA, Fire Departments, Federal, State and local Law Enforcement Agencies, Rescue Squads, our Armed Forces and many other Emergency Response Agencies are forever short of manpower during a crisis or disaster. The USDRC helps offset these shortages by establishing First Responder Units across the United States with highly trained volunteers who are willing and able to assist these types of agencies under their direct supervision.
